I am using 2003 ppt. I have 40 slides, which I would like
to number. I try 2 different ways: View header/footer and
check insert slide number, then apply to all, or Insert
slide number/ check slide box, then apply to all.

Each time the slide numbers get inserted upside down.

Any ideas??? This also happens on 2002 ppt.

Thanks for any info you could provide.

Mike

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello Mike,

Most likely the "Number Area" on your Slide Master (and/or Title Master)
have been rotated 180-degrees from their normal orientation. If that's
the case, you can simply use the Free Rotation command on the Draw ->
Rotate or Flip menu to rotate a selected Number Area to the proper
orientation.
