Hi
I tried to save my 10 minute file as an DV-Avi file and
it says I don't have enough disk space-even though I have
20 GB left.
Therefore I saved it as a high quality WMA file and half
the pictures are upside down.

First-why won't it save as a DV-AVi file even with so
many gb left?

and secondly what did I do wrong with the other save and
how do I go about fixing the pictures?

Thanks
Diane

Went to your site-found the version 9 dll in the window
system 32 file (as well as the old one.) Copied the ver
9 dll to movie maker file but nothing changed -still
telling me the same message.
Did I do something wrong?
Also can you please comment as to why my pictures were
upside down and what can I do about it?

Thankyou

Hi there,

If you followed every step and it failed then perhaps a trip to the
microsoft website and install the version 9 codecs will solve it. You can
either save them to a location on your hard drive and then run the
installer, or, use the OPEN option when presented to you and they will be
installed directly over the internet. Which ever method you use, it should
put your registry right as well, and that alone may fix your problem

As far as some of your stills coming out upside down, I have never heard of
that one happening before, perhaps someone else has and can jump in here.
Failing that, the only way I know of turning a picture in Movie Maker 2 is
to use the rotate option in the effects section, if all else fails you can
use that effect to correct the one that have turned over by themselves. It
may be some quirk in your software setup thats causing it. I wonder, is it
always the same images that turn over or is it random each time you save
the movie...does altering the order of the images effect in any way which
ones turn over?
