uploading pictures to email, etc.

all of a sudden, when i try to email an image or video file, or upload to
Googlevideo, youtube, etc, when I browse for the file and then click on the
file internet explorer freezes. i've run every virus scan and repair program
i know of. nothing has fixed the problem.
 
I had the same problem in the past and I couldn't fix it
now I got a nec PC in june and from spetember I have the same problem again
I don't know why but when I bought the new Pc I was able to upload file even
90 MB but now i can't and when I connect my laptop to the PC and I upload
from the same connection (through network group using the connexion of the
PC) I can upload again so it's a problem with the XP of my PC not a problem
with the connexion (however I have the same windows XP SP2 in the laptop and
the pc too)
