Uploading my site problem

I use FP-2003-SP-1
=================

I cannot any longer upload my Web Site to my ISP

The problem does not seem to be my ISP nor my FTP program

I put some JavaScript into a page and it messed things up, but even deleting
the page I sense I still have bad code lurking in the background

What would be the easiest way with FrontPage to keep the FP program, but
make a fresh copy without the apparently still bad code

As I recall once with an Access program I got some bad coding lurking in the
background after a deletion, so I copied and pasted the program as a "new"
program and this got rid of the stray bad coding--Is this possible with FP?

Any suggestions?

Thank you...

Have you tried the usual repairs in the sequence below:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) Run a Repair on IE
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378 )
4) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, MS Office and your Video card
(Windows Update and Office Update sites, plus your video card supplier site)
5) Open FP and Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins,
6) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

Using FTP sometimes crashes the FP extensions on the server. Would'nt that disable the
ability of FP to publish?

Your explanation is confusing
You must be opening a FP web/site (not just a page)
If you have a "folder" on your PC w/ the "files"
- use File open Site and browse to that folder (FP will convert it to a web)

Your host server either supports the FP Server Extensions or they don't

To find out see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;828909

If the do see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825528&Product=fp2003
(do not use the optimize options if you don't understand their impact)

If they don't see
