FP2003

Is it possible to setup the Frontpage feature that allows others to have
input ... to allow others to also upload a file or two. I'm thinking the
answer might be no. Someone suggested I use something like Mambo for that
purpose but I'd rather stick to FrontPage 2003.

Any thoughts on this ... orany thoughts on Mambo.
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.

Yes....use the "File" field in a form....but all depends on your host
allowing uploads to their servers, and they have final say over whether they
enable that FPSE component.

Murray, I found out that people without the ISP's cable modem cannot upload
... at least not to a residential account. If it was a business account, it
would be allowed. Thanks for the info. I don't know how to use that feature
yet, but I somehow think I'm about to embark on it. I think it'll come in
handy to know this.
Thanks again.

Andrew (sorry about the name mixup).
As it turns out, my ISP won't allow others to upload because my package with
them is residential and that's how it will remain. While I'm doing
volunteer sites for a couple of non-profit organizations with my plan, so
that I can learn, that won't change.
However, the church sprung for the $5/month to setup the site using Mambo
and it supposedly works with frontpage, but I can't figure out how to use
their script with Frontpage. I can't seem to even see the script. It is
installed and it's in the directory I've got here, but it remains a mystery
for now.
If anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate hearing them.
Thanks.
