uploading a file to my server?

I'm pretty sure that this is, unfortunately, the wrong group: if so, please direct me to a more appropriate group.

I'm trying to figure out how I can use "normal" ASP to allow a user to upload a file onto my server. I don't have access directly to the server, although I can FTP to it; I use Dreamweaver8 generally.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Well to upload a file from a web page you need an asp/php/jsp whatever
script on the server to recieve it. If you cannot place a script on the
server then you'll need to ask if the server managers can assist you.
