I think I have read through the entire front page message board and can't
seem to find an answer to my problem - please help!

I have created a new fp site to replace an existing fp site. When I upload
the new fp site, the files show that they are there, but when I type in the
http address, it says the page cannot be displayed. I am uploading with a
ftp address and have used this in the past and no problems have occured. Is
there something I am missing? I am new to front page and the existing site
was created before I started working here. Thank you in advance!

hi -

Did you remember to delete the old pages first before you uploaded the new
ones?
I think the webpage is trying to put the old pages up. =o) Maybe this will
help?
Good luck!

I looked at your site and it looks good. You may have typed it in wrong.

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person to use
the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

I deleted the old pages and then uploaded the new ones. I can see them in
fp, but when I go to the http address, they aren't there! I have tried
everything I can think of and nothing seems to correct the problem. Help!

Check with your host to see if they have some sort of caching enabled before
the new pages are available.

Also, clear your own browser cache and check again.
