Hello,

Is there a website for temporary files where I can upload a file, then give
instructions to a friend where to download it. This assumes that the file
is too big for an email attachment.

thanks,

Shaun

Your own provider might give you space. I have 10 Gigs with Verizon.
Not much but enough to toss some medium res photos on. More than
mail will work.

Alternate solution: US mail still works, mail your
choice of USB media. For instance, I have some
Transcend flash drives that, with holder, are only
5 mm thick and losably small.

Shaun,
Do a Google search for free file hosting.

I have used www.savefile.com myself in the past. It will automatically delete
the file after 30 days, after the last person has downloaded it. It allows files
up to 100MB.

Is that in the dictionary? "losably"! Good word though, says it
all. Kinda like 256m thumbs and 500meg HDs.
