Have looked at various threads on this but can you clarify what I need to do.
the problem is that a form with an upload button on prompts the user for a
password and username. How can I stop this requirement so users can just
uplaod a file onto my website?

Thanks.

Hi Stefan, thanks for that - I had tried to go through the support page
before contacting you but a lot is over my head - I run FP2003 on an XP
machine. My host has FP extensions installed. am I right in thinking the
problem is that my hosting company does not support uploading?

Your host must support uploading, and must activate it for your web. You
need to contact them.
