Hi,
I have 2 partitions on my system, C: is nearly a few MBs and only
contain boot.ini & co.
Windows Xp (and everything else) is installed on D: and I want to
upgrade this installation two Vista.
I have Vista Business disc contained in Partner Program pack and it
refuses to upgrade installation on D:
Is there a way to achieve this?

Well, I don't know what the Partner Program pack consists of, but
if the disc is similar to the retail version, I can think of two
possible reasons for the failure. First, are you starting the
upgrade process from inside XP? (I believe an upgrade will fail
if you boot from the DVD, although you can do a clean install in
a new partition that way.) Second, the upgrade program is fussy
about which versions of XP can be upgraded to Vista Business --
although I can't recall which versions are accepted, the MS site
will have that info.
