Upgrading Windows 2000 to Windows XP?

Does anyone know how to upgrade 2000 to XP? The Upgrade
I purchased is not working!?!

If XP Home then you won't be able to.

I discovered this the hard way as well. You must have XP
Professional - Upgrade. At least it says on the box that
it will upgrade Win 2000. Unfortunately, for me, neither
the store or Microsoft will exchange the XP Home for XP
Professional (even if I pay the difference).
 
Contact our customer service group and see if they might be able to assist
you with an exchange
