Upgrading to XP Pro - Help Please!

Hello - In the middle of my fresh installation using XP Pro Upgrade CD (after
completely reformatting my hard drive), when it was finalizing things, the
entire screen went black and I had to hard boot and start all over again.
So, I did, and it happened again! What's going on? Can anyone out there
please help me??

And what o/s were you running prior to the upgrade?
BTW the winxp cd will format/partion etc prior to the install

You have lots of answers on the thread you made yesterday; go look at
them. Do not make a new post about the same subject; keep posts about
one subject in one thread. The reason you are having difficulties
posting and seeing the answers is because you are using the awful web
interface to this newsgroup. Learn to use a newsreader. Here is
