Upgrading to Windows Vista

In December 2006, I bought a new laptop which is Windows Vista compatible.
Hewleet Packard, who sold the computer stated that a free upgrade of Windows
Vista would be available in the new year. Does anyone know how I get this
upgrade. I understand I have until the end of March 2007 to request it, but
dont know how.

You should have gotten something with the computer that explained how to get
Vista.
If not contact the seller.

You should have gotten a sheet that explains how and when you can order the
upgrade. If you didn't, I'd give HP a call and let them know.
