Upgrading to Outlook 02 from Netscape via OE. 7000+ messages

I am able to import the netscape folders, however, one of
the machines here has over 7000 messages in one folder.
When I complete the import, I only get 1558 of these
7000+ messages.
Anybody know why, or how I can accomplish this massive
transfer? This is my bosses computer, and I need to get
him switched over to Outlook ASAP.

Please tell us your version of Outlook.

Well, I believe I solved this issue. I think it was the
file size that was the hold up. I broke down the folder
in netscape to 10 folders averaging about 800 messages
and about 80 megs, then I was able to get them into OE,
Then finally imported into Outlook.

Last question. I now have a Netscape 7.0 users that I
need to do the same on. What is the trick? if I must
downgrade to older netscape version, how do I do that?
 
I can teach you a dirty (not so dirty) trick if you know how to run a
POP3 server. Netscape/Mozilla/Eudora mailbox is standard Unix mbox. If
you know what I mean, you can easily import mails to Outlook by routing
mails through POP3.

Otherwise, install Netscape 4 and...

Thanks for your help. I installed Netscape 4.76, then
transferred the folders (from windows explorer) to 4.76
from 7.1. then i was able to download into OE then to
Outlook.
