Upgrading RC1 from Beta 2

I finished the installation of RC1, but I can't start up the interface. Not
even the safe mode.
There was no error message.
but the PC lets me to roll back to what I had before I installed.
any ideas?????
btw.... is there a RC2???
why I heard ppl talking about RC2??

Some here say you can upgrade Beta 2 to RC1, others say it won't work. IIRC,
Microsoft said that upgrading Beta 2 to RC1 "is not supported".

There is an RC2. It was available publicly for short period of time, but you
seem to have missed it. Unless you have an MSDN subscription or other
"insider access", you'll have to find an "unofficial" source.

Sign on to subscriber downloads, look under Operating Systems and download
it. You can also get a key while you're signed in. If you already have a RC1
key, that will work as well.

I started it

I am now looking for ways to get the RC2
I hope any of u guys can make a BT torrent
so that I can download the official one from the guy's PC

You're talking about the public download.
You told us "I do have an MSDN subscription"?!?

If you do, in fact, have a MSDN subscription, you can download RC2 using
your subscription. What part of that do you not understand? The RC2
downloads *are* available to MSDN subscribers.

You gave us a link to the general public downloads, not *Subscriber
Downloads*.
If you don't know how to get to subscriber downloads, I suggest you call
MSDN Support on the phone (with your subscription card handy) and ask them
to lead you through the process of getting to your subscriber downloads.
You never told us *which* MSDN subscription you have. All the subscription
levels give access to operating system downloads, except the "Library"
subscription.
