Upgrading my Windows xp to Vista

Im thinking about upgrading my Windows Xp to vista, but when i have backed
up all my files, will i need to re- install any of my Games, programmes etc
after i have completed?

Comments would be appreciated :)
 
Hi,

For an upgrade, no. Programs, user accounts, and settings are migrated into
the new installation during an upgrade.

It might be appropriate, if the op has not already done, to run the Vista Upgrade Advisor and uninstall incompatible software.
