i am currently running windows me, but have bought a
windows xp home installation disc. it is an offical
microsoft issue of the program but does not have a coa.
will my offical windows me coa activate the program or
where do i get one from? thanks for any help.

A Windows XP installation CD is useless without a valid
Windows XP Product Key. No other Windows Product Key
will work with it. You'll have to contact the seller of the
Windows XP Home CD and ask them for the correct
25-character Windows XP Product Key.

Not a lemon, but most likely a pirated disk. Why would you buy the disk
without the COA?
