About 18 months ago, I upgraded the motherboard on my PC
(home built), and while I don't recall it, my Son says
that Microsoft told me that the only way I could get
Windows XP back up is to format the hard drive and do a
reinstall of Win XP. I think I would have remembered
that, but he insists that is what they said. Well, I am
ready to upgrade again, and I want to make sure that I
don't have to format the HD, which is out of the question.
Anyone have some advice?
Thanks,
Wade
