or should i only use new cards??

Only if they are the same type.

What is the 'old' pc and what is the new one?

... it would help us to help you if you can find this detail.


pikakilla ... it wont matter if one is AMD based and the other Intel, they could still use the same DDR. Although we are probably looking at a no win here.
