I am getting Stop error 0x000000A when trying to upgrade from Windows XP to
Vista Ultimate. The blue screen error also says "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". I
ran the compatibility program which did not detect any problems that would
prevent installation, so I was not expecting any hiccups. The installation
was almost complete when this happened. After I got this blue screen I could
not boot into Windows and had to rollback to Windows XP. Has anyone else seen
this? Any suggestions on how to get past it to complete the Vista
installation?
