Upgrading from windows ME to 2000

Can you help me?
I am currently using Windows ME, but I've just bought an IPOD, and need
either Windows 2000 or XP to download i-tunes.
Is there a very cheap and easy way of doing this?

There is no supported upgrade path from WinME to Windows 2000. This article
