Upgrading from Outlook 2003 to 2007

Will 2007 automatically backup and install all of your 2003 folders?
Or do you need to export to a .pst first?

Neither. First, never export to or import from a PST. Its' unneeded and
will cause you to lose data or corrupt an exosting mail profile. Just open
the existing PST either in Outlook with File>New>Outlook Data File or in
Control Panel's Mail applet with the Data Files button.
