I am still having difficulty in doing this. I have been through all of the
Microsoft download areas and cannot find a simple way of upgrading to
Explorer 6. I keep going around in circles!! Is there something that makes
this complicated?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1

This is where you download the installer, ie6setup.exe, then run that.

Or: http://browsers.evolt.org/?ie/32bit/
This site has the full install, single-file download of IE 6.0, but only the
smaller installer file for IE 6.0 SP-1

Full single-file downloads of IE 6 SP-1 (latest version of IE 6 for Win2K
available):

ftp://ftp.iconnect.net/pub/DOS/browser/ici_ie6sp1_win.exe
http://helpdesk.uvic.ca/software/downloads/windows/MSIEXPL/ie60sp1.exe

These are self-extracting .exe files. Download into a folder on your
system, click to extract the files into that folder, then find the
ie6setup.exe file and run that.
