I have about 500 customers that have Intermec 700 terminals with PPC 2000.
They have asked me what they get if they upgrade to 2002. I'm not sure, does
anyone have a link that explains the differences between these two OS's?

Thore,

Both PocketPC and PocketPC 2002 are based on Windows CE version 3, so the
difference to the user probably wouldn't be as great as moving from PocketPC
2002 to PocketPC 2003, which is based on CE version 4 and is therefore
noticeably faster. The main thing I recall is the introduction of the "smart
minimize" button in 2002, which is not a feature that I particularly like.

Here's a link about migrating your apps from PocketPC to PocketPC 2002:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnppc2k2/html/ppc_ate2002.asp
You will also see articles about what's new in IE for PPC2002 and the
Notification API that was new for PPC 2002 in the same general area of MSDN.

Hi,

You have to contact Intermec , IIRC the 700 have scanner integrated and
maybe they do not support them in 2002.

Cheers,
