We are about to rebuild our Primary Domain Controller.

At present the OS is w2000 and we have a Secondary
Controller as a backup.

We are going to upgrade the operating system to W2003 and
install larger drives.

Does anyone know what we should look out for?
What are the pitfalls that may occur?
Are there any articles on the subject that we should read
before we take the plunge?

Thanks Peter.

I don't know much about it, but I went to one of the MS
seminars on 2003. The instructor indicated that schema
changes are required in AD prior to the upgrade to 2003
AD. These are done by running adprep /domainprep on each
infrastructure manager and adprep /forestprep on the
schema master. He said they've had mixed results with
this and recommended considering a migration tool. Look
at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows.netserver/preview/document
ation.mspx for more info.
