Upgraded to win. xp and printer doesn't work

I have upgraded form windows 98 to windows xp and the
computer does not see the printer. When I go to install
printer it does not see the printer. I downloaded the xp
windows driver from microsoft site and installed it and
it still won't work. i have canon BJC-2000 printer. Don't
know where to go from here.

I did the same thing, but I have a HP OfficeJet ALL IN

ONE. Fixed my problem, When you upgraded to XP was your
cannon compatible? Cannon may be different, HP was not
compatible and I had to download a Software Program off
the internet provide by HP. If that doesn't fix your
problem, then try going over the driver downloads again
and make sure you are installing all the ones you need.
That was my problem...I passed over the one I needed to
get my printer to work. Let me know!
