I just upgraded tp Access 2003. Now, whenever I open a
database I get 3 messages/promts telling me that there is
code and do I want to enable it. I created all of the
files and this has quickly become a pain in the @#% !!
Can I get around these messages/prompts?

You can turn off the new macro security. Because you upgraded, you might
first need to refresh your menus.

1) Open any database
2) Right-click any menu or toolbar and choose Customize from the shortcut
menu.
3) On the Toolbars tab in the Customize dialog box, select Menu Bar, but do
not uncheck it.
4) Click the Reset button - confirm the reset, and then close the dialog
box.
5) With the focus on the database window, select Tools / Macro / Security.
6) In the Security dialog box, choose Low (not recommended) and click OK.

After you turn off macro security, Access will no longer warn you when you
open a database containing queries, macros, or VB code. If you download a
database from the internet or get one from someone else, you might want to
turn macro security back on to avoid any nasty viruses.
