Question? My new I-Pod is 98 unfriendly. I am upgrading
to 2000 home Upgrade. Will this affect my files or my
programs or my desktop????

Question? I am not familar on how to backup???

Rob your desktop will change to the new Windows 2000 look. Your files will
still be on the hard drive, although not all of them may show up on your new
desktop when the upgrade finishes. You'll simply be able to put the
shortcuts back on your Desktop

In regard to backing up - read through these - they'll help you understand a
little bit better about the backup an restore process of Windows 98
