Yeah, there are those that would complain that my answers were too brief ;)
I'm assuming you read the procedure for the clean install via the upgrade
CD, requires you to install it twice.

There are a few things I'm not sure about after looking through this NG. I'd
be much obliged is someone could clear these up for me:

1) Is it possible to do a clean install of Vista with the Upgrade Edition,
so you can keep XP on the same computer?

2) Is it possible to virtualize Vista with VMware or Virtual PC?

3) Suppose you have a full version (not upgrade). Is there any reason why
you couldn't put Vista on its own partition? Have XP on a separate
partition, and virtualize other (non-Vista) OS's out of XP? In other words,
leave Vista out of the virtualization loop altogether.

Thanks.

(Refreshing, isn't it? A clean, simple exchange of facutal information
without all the high drama of defeated expectations).

No, I don't have an upgrade CD. I was just wondering because there were
conflicting statements about it and other things I was asking about.

Do you have any more info on this "install it twice" thing? I'll be using
an upgrade DVD soon, but am hoping to do a clean install on a second HDD.
