I upgrade my DELL 8600 Inspiron, from its OEM Windows Xp HOME, to a
Windows XP Professional. I made a Clean installation.
The card connects perfectly to the router and recives an IP Address,
but then i can't connect to the internet, and i can not even ping
another computer in the same network (i can only ping this computer).
I installed another wireless card (cisco) and works perfectly.
Does anyone know what can be the problem here?
Thanks in advances

Why didn't you just order this computer with OEM XP Pro from Dell to begin with?

Did you clean install a Retail copy of XP Pro?
There is a DIFFERENCE.
By the way, if you did use Retail XP Pro instead of contacting Dell and doing an upgrade through them with their OEM XP Pro
you probably have voided your warranty with Dell.

Whatever card you are talking about that came with the system may have the correct driver available here:
