Upgrade to XP (home) from Windows 98 SE upgrade

I know you can upgrade from 98 to XP, but does it matter if my Windows 98 SE
was also an upgrade version or not?

Thanks,
Richard

Have you run the Upgrade Advisor to make sure you can upgrade ? Not to many
systems that came with only Win 98 have a fair amount of problems with that
upgrade, especially in the Modem and CD drivers.

No, it doesn't matter.

If your harddrive is running on raid, make sure it is
uninstalled before upgrading to winxp. Can cause problems

No it doesn't. The check is only made that you have the immediately
preceding version - it is assumed that if that was an upgrade it was
legitimate
