Customers who purchased Windows XP Embedded full product
from an Authorized Microsoft Embedded Distributor (does
not include Evaluation version or Emulation Edition)
between November 2001 and November 30, 2002 are entitled
to a free upgrade to Windows XP Embedded with Service
Pack 1.
If you are entitled to a free upgrade and , please follow
the following steps to check the status of your upgrade:
1) Contact the distributor from whom you purchased your
original copy of Windows XP Embedded and confirm the
company and shipping information they provided to
Microsoft. Distributors supplied the information
Microsoft used to send the free upgrades, so it is
important that your distributor has your correct shipping
information.
2) If the information your Distributor has on file is
correct, email (e-mail address removed) with the following
information:

.. City, State, Country, zip code
.. Date of purchase

You should expect a response within 24 hours of emailing
Microsoft.
3) If the information does not match, your distributor
will need to contact Microsoft to update your record and
there is no need for you to contact Microsoft directly.

contacting your distributor. If you do not, contact
(e-mail address removed) with your contact information and
purchase information.
