upgrade to windows 2003

I am an Windows Administrator, We have Windows 2000 based Domain, Now We want
to upgrade our Domain Server to a new Updated Hardware's along with the
hardware upgrade We also plan to Upgrade the Server OS & Active Directory
Domain to Windows 2003. We have around 200 + users using this 2000 based
Domain & Group Along with Group Policy.

Need a help as to how to go about for Easy & Quick Path to perform this
upgrade...

Hi,
One option would be as follows:

1. Build new server with Windows 2000 and make this an additonal domain
controller in your network. This will copy over all the users and policies.
2. Transfer all your server roles to the new server (master browser etc)
3. Take the old Domain controller off-line
4. Upgrade your new domain controller to W2K3
