Upgrade to Windows 2000

I have Windows 95. Bought a Sony Camcorder which had a
disk to install the USB driver so I can edit the film.
Cannot install as it needs Windows 2000
professional/windows XP Home edition/professional.

I know very little about computers - do I have to take it
to a PC specialist to get upgraded or can I buy it from
somewhere like PC world or can I download it from the net?

would appreciate some advice.

Since your machine is old enough to have win95 on it...it is not likely to
run Win2000 very well.
What you might want to do is see of you can find software that will work
with
windows98...chances are your machine could handle that.

BTW: does your machine even have a USB port on it?
Of not...although a USB card can probably be added...I think you may want to
consult a local computer shop..
to run video software well...you will prob just be better off with a whole
new
machine
