XP stores user data in c:\Documents & Settings\me and uses the nomenclature
"My" Documents, "My" This, and "My" that.. Vista has a more sensible
structure - storing user data in c:\Users and Music in "Music" etc.. No
more "My" this and that. I'm glad to get away from that silly marketing-
inspired product development so I want to upgrade to Vista.
Question: If I upgrade a working installation of XP pro to Vista Ult (both
are full retail versions), what happens to these User folders, folder
structure, and my data ?
Do the files in "My Documents" get moved to C:\Users\me\Documents? OR am I
going to be left with the same user data folders that I had with XP ? I
don't want to upgrade if it doesn't move these files to the new folder
structure.
Thanks
