Hi,
I've just done an upgrade on my motherboard and CPU (nothing else, only
CPU and mobo), I upgrade that from PIII to PIV. But then when I turn on the
computer, it just can't boot into the windows, and turn into blue screen.
Does anyone know why?
Later on, I tried another hard disk, it succesfully boot into windows, but
after I install the cable modem driver, then I went onto internet, it turn
into blue screen and restart itself.... It's weird, what can I do, this one
is a brand new OS.
Note: Both are winXP.

Windows XP records the components of the motherboard and then base the
activation of XP on this. To fix this, do a repair re-install.

Hi,
Is this only happen on windows XP?
What do u mean by repair reinstall? Will this delete my files? Those files
are quite important to me.
Also, I tried to make a fresh install of windows XP on another hard disk,
but somehow it turns into blue screen after I install the driver of the
cable modem, it did not happen in my old XP. Why?
