does the original manufacturer operating system of the
compaq presario (windows 98)have a compatible BIOS for
windows 2000 upgrade?
 
You would need to contact your computer manufacturer to check for BIOS
updates. I would also recommend you go to www.microsoft.com/hcl to check the
compatibility of your hardware with windows 2000.
