I want to increase the size of my C disk. I have
installed a new disk and it is working fine (currently
with drive letter E), but I have no idea how to move the
current contents of the C drive across to it. I presume
simply dragging and dropping isn't an option with the
operating system files, but I don't particularly fancy
reinstalling all of the programs I use. Is there a "move
operating system" utility that I haven't managed to find
hidden away somewhere? Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, Maxtor and Western Digital and Seagate all have such
programs on their web pages if you didn't get a CD with a
retail drive.

Jim - many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. I'll
try the web sites you mention. Regards, Brian

Use Partition Magic or Ghost or Drive Image to copy entire partitions
to another disk.
