When I upgrade to Vista on a Windows XP machine, should I disable any
XP programs (or remove any) that are currenly on the XP machine?

thanks

Nah - just make a backup of your files and all that. Software that doens't
install any registry keys (there are some - Resource Hacker, smaller
programs... can't think of any more... Counter-Strike) - they can be backed
up and literally copied and pasted back in - I did this with some of my
applications I downloaded and installed as it just saves time.

But files deffo. need to be backed up just to be sure ;o)
