I own a Sony Vaio notebook VGN-FS series running XP Professional edition.
The upgrade advisor for Vista is telling me to go with the Business Edition
of Vista. One of the reasons I am uprading is because I need Windows Media
Center for xBox integration. Does anyone know what issues I may run into if
I go with Home Premium or Ultimate Edition? What would you recommend?

Thanks!!

Hi,

The core is the same, so it doesn't matter which version you choose. The
differences are in the features, not in system compatibility. You should
choose the version that has the features you want (and obviously you are
aware that you need Home Premium or Ultimate to have the media center
features).

Make sure Sony supports upgrading your model to Vista and that drivers are
available for all the hardware that is on the system. The Upgrade Advisor
only reports known incompatibilities, it doesn't always know if all your
hardware will be supported natively.
