I am trying to install Windows 2000 on a computer but
little did I know it was and upgrade CD. I wiped the hard
drive clean and started from the beggining before I knew
this though. It says I can verify that I own a previous
copy of Windows of some kind, but when i put the cd and
hit and hit enter it just says it cannot read the cd or
it's not a winnt 3.51 or winnt 4.0. I do own a copy of
many different operating systems but none of them work.
Is there anyway around this?

This may help. (note: restore CD-Roms will not work)
