I just upgraded to XP Home and found out that I should
have upgraded to XP Professional. What is the
best/easiest option to get to XP Professional?

Thanks

Purchase and install the conventional "retail, upgrade version" of
Windows XP Professional.

Are you using the computer on a network where you are required to log
into a Domain?

If not, what specific reason do you have for requiring XP Pro instead
of XP Home. There are very few other differences between the two
versions.

Good luck

One point that might be important.

If you do purchase the XP Pro upgrade then what you should do is to
first *uninstall* your XP Home upgrade version and revert back to your
previous version of Windows.

Then install XP Pro as an upgrade of that.

That will make your XP Home upgrade license totally free and clear and
you can use it on another computer or you can sell it to someone else.

If you just install the XP Pro as an upgrade of your XP Home (which
will work very well) then your XP Home license has been used as the
"qaulifying product" for installing the XP Pro upgrade and the two
licenses are tied together and cannot be separated.

Good luck
