Upgrade from Windows ME to Windows 2000 Pro

after upgrading whenever i logon as admin i get a windows
installer window asking me to insert the publisher
cd...everytime and it says that i am trying to use a
resource that is on a cd or disk not available. also when
i open publisher it says that it has detected changes in
the computer and i need to re-register and asks for cd
again and again....when i try to uninstall it does not let
me saying that the install folder is not available.

I dont know wot the problem is please someone help me.

Windows ME came out after Win2000, not before, so there
is no upgrade path from ME to 2000. If you did it anyway
then you ended up with an undefined system. Your best
bet is to back up your data files, then do a fresh installation
of Windows 2000 onto a blank disk.
