At the beginning of the installation, towards the end
of "preparing an Upgrade Report", it shuts down and tells
me "WINNT32 caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL
32.DLL AT 0177:bff8836d"

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks.

Could be caused by almost anything. It is having trouble even determining
what is installed on your system. I would run msconfig and disable all
startup programs and give it another try. Do you know if your computer is
capable of running Windows 2000?

I'm told it will be easier to do a clean install of
Windows 2000 versus an upgrade. If you find out
different, please let me know.
Thanks
Alan

I am having the same issue. I even went in and diabled
everything but Explorer and Systray. I know it would be
better to do the fresh install but it's not my system and
I don't want to find/reinstall all there software.
