I've upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003. While the account details (for pop3
email) have been carried over all the emails, contacts, tasks, etc entries
have gone. Have they gone for good????

Many thanks

Bill

Oh dear - I can't find it on the PC - would it have been backed up with
another extension? The installation routine removed Outlook 2000 as part of
the install and I, simple soul I am, didn't back it up first!

Thanks,

Bill

it's in a hidden file - use the advanced options to search hidden files and
folders - it should be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Thanks, I was looking under
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
rather than
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
and missed it!

Hugh sigh of relief!
