Help! I did a complete upgrade (vs partial) from ME to XP
and now I have absolutely no sound at all! All diagnostic
tools tell me my Creative Labs Soundblaster PCI 128 is
fully functioning, has no conflicts, and I've updated all
drivers that were available but still no sound
whatsoever. All other internal settings are correct
(checked 3+ times just to be sure) and speakers and sound
settings are connected, properly set, etc.

I'm thinking this upgrade thing was not such a good idea.
Any suggestions???

Thanks!

Helena go to 'Control Panel' and then open 'Sounds and Audio
Devices'.

Under (on the) 'Volume Tab' click on 'Advanced' which will open
'Play Control'

Check there to see what is checked and unchecked - most
especially the 'Mute' blocks.

Hope this helps.
