272627 Windows Me to Windows 2000 Upgrade Is Not Supported
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=272627
Not a good idea. Better is to do a backup and then do a clean install of
Windows 2000.
Upgrading Windows Millennium Edition (Me) to Microsoft Windows 2000
Professional has not been tested for full feature functionality and is not a
supported upgrade path.

: I've heard it's risky to upgrade from Windows ME to 2000
: and that I might have problems afterwards if I do so...
:
: Anyone knows if I should upgrade or not????
