Upgrade from ME to 2000 Pro

Now that I have upgraded to 2000 Pro from ME, when I boot
up, I get a screen where 2 choices come up for which
operating system is preferred (Windows 2000 Pro or
Windows). You have to select Windows 2000 Pro or let it
time out before the boot process will continue. Is ME
still on my machine? If so, I need it off! I don't want
this message anymore. Can anyone help me out?
 
You can not upgrade Win ME to Win 2k. Win ME came out before Win 2k. You
have two operating systems on your computer, ME and Win 2k.

There is no supported "upgrade" to Win 2k from Win ME. a format and re
install is required.
