I have recently migrated from VB6 to VS2005 Express. It would appear that in
order to specify a splash screen EULA during install and specify a specific
install folder (that the end user can override) I will have to "get off my
wallet". My question is - will "Standard" do the trick or do I need to step
up to "Pro". Any advice will be much appreciated.

Tim.

I got a free copy of VS.NET 2005 Standard here:

http://www.learn2asp.net/Campaign.aspx

Not sure if the promo is still running, but it's worth a try. Regardless
the material on the site is pretty good.

It took about 5 - 6 weeks for the software to arrive.

Shoot, they're not giving away full versions anymore... only a trial pro.
But you do get a coupon? :-(
