upgrade domain to 2003

I have a 2000 DC with a win2003 member server. If I run ADprep and make
win2003 server a DC, then make that the FSMO/operation master will that work
or am I missing
steps.

The FSMO step is not necessary and you have
to run the ADPrep twice:

/ForestPrep and
/DomainPrep

You only need to move the FSMO roles if you
plan to remove the existing role holder.

Then you probably need to also make the new
server a GC.

And take care of DNS.
